Kevin A. Kirk
Thesis: Electrochemical Study of Nanoparticles and
their Interactions: From Fundamental Study
to Novel Sensing Devices
Research: Developing electrochemical method to evaluate the proteins aggregation states, nanoparticles functionalization and
design functional materials with environmental applications for heavy ions removal
- Monitor the aggregation state of lysozyme by single particle collisions electrochemical (SPCE) method using Ag nanoparticles
- Developing robust, field-deployable sensing technologies and manufacturing processes to produce user-friendly sensors for
environmental or food contaminants
- Fabricated nanocomposite filters to remove heavy metal ions from cosmetic products
