Thesis: Electrochemical Biosensors for Real-time

Environmental and Clinical Monitoring

Research: Developing electrochemical method and biosensors to evaluate the superoxide radical mobility at the extracellular space in a brain slice model and environmental pollutants (pesticides, bisphenol A)

- Monitor in vitro and in vivo the nanoparticles-induced toxicity and oxidative stress using biomedical sensors, specifically the temporal

release of superoxide in a brain slice model of hypoxia using cytochrome c biosensor

- Developing robust, practical biosensors for monitoring clinical and environmental samples

- Implementation of different immobilization methods (affinity, Self-Assembled Monolayer - SAM) in biosensors development
